Educational and Cultural Union Läte

 

The Private School Läte was founded and is maintained by the Educational and Cultural Union Läte. This union was founded on the 11th of October in 2007 by parents and other persons concerned with education in Estonia.

 

The aims of the Educational and Cultural Union Läte are:
• developing and encouraging culture and education;
• activating and encouraging people to better cognize the surrounding environment and their own life;
• developing and maintaining the school and kindergarten/childcare based on Waldorf pedagogy; and representing them before third persons.
• introducing Waldorf pedagogy and other philosophies focusing on the human being as a whole and free entity; organizing lectures, courses, seminars, exhibitions and trainings for adults;
• maintaining and encouraging folk culture;
• promoting ecological and human-centered lifestyle;
• developing the co-operation with other organizations and individuals working in educational field.

 

The Educational and Cultural Union Läte is guided in its activities by the ethic code principles of Estonian civic unions.
